Went to Boston last week with Tim and Chris to play a show, chill with old friends and meet some awesome new people. The club was dope and the show went really well. I am releasing new music this week, psyched to get it out.
I’m booking a summer tour right now. Its a fucking head ache. It will definitely be worth it.

Last week my band Minarets digitally self-released our first single “The Tide.” We accompanied the release with some press outreach. Within hours of putting the track up, it was picked up by indiemusicfilter.com. Presumably resulting from that post, it was featured on Lithuanian indie blog shilta.lt. Today a google search revealed that it had been made into a youtube video by one of the blog’s readers. The video’s info says simply “Hey look what i found!” Although all of this is extremely modest and ultimately, quite mildly consequential, it has gotten me so excited. Watching people gravitate towards my music in such a way that they are inspired to share it, inspired to bring it to diverse places and diverse audiences simply because they felt a personal connection to it, has been so humbling and astounding and invigorating. I want to make art that inspires people to go to their friends and say “you need to hear this.” I can’t wait to drop the next track.
